Handy Reference about
God's Blood Pump

via Rodel34@adelphia.net

On the average your heart beats 70 times a minute.

4,200 times an hour.

100,800 times in a 24-hour day.

In one year, it beats 36 million, 792 thousand times.

During the average life span of 80 years, it has beaten over 4 billion times.

It has pumped 600,000 tons of blood through 60,000 miles of blood vessels.

Your heart weighs 10-12 ounces and it is the size of your fist.

It is triggered to beat by an electrical impulse by a battery designed by God.  After many years of service, sometimes, but not often, the beat slows down and man has to put in a helper battery called a Pacemaker.

It's quite a battery!

This past December (2005), I passed my 95th birthday, and my heart is still running on the original battery God gave me over 95 years ago.
